Oh, the ever changing emotions of an infant! Zoey hasn't ever had any crying spells for "no reason", but she does have a tendency to express frustration at the drop of a dime. Sometimes, she'll get her little heart set on having something, and with one grunt or smack of her hand, her brow is furrowed and she's screeching! (Cute, but SO not cute!)
Happy...
Locked in...
Seemingly traumatized!...
Ahhh, all better!
(Nom, nom, nom on the camera strap)
All of the moving that she's doing now, is getting her into some curious situations...
After a few rolls and squirms, she found herself wrapped in her blanket!
I still crack up every time I think about how strange it must be for her, as she explores the world and figures out how to use her body. Not only does she often go to sleep and wake up in a new place (either due to car seat travel, or squirming to the opposite side of her crib), but she also often does a series of movements that result in: food on her face, teethers around her wrists or ankles, blankets wrapped around her upper body, stuffed animals pinning her to the ground...the list goes on and on. Oh, the wonderful world of babies! :)
And just in case you weren't aware, the hottest new trend in lipstick color right now, is a lovely shade of orange I like to call "Carrot Casanova"! Alluring, isn't it? ;)
Beee-u-tiful!
